Dunking News is the world’s first global media outlet built exclusively for dunk culture. From regulation 10-foot competitions to the creativity of low rim dunking, we document the stories, rivalries, and records shaping one of the fastest-growing sports movements on Earth.
Why We Exist
Dunking is not just a highlight—it’s a sport with legends, rookies, camps, and a global audience. Mainstream sports media has overlooked it. We’re here to fix that, delivering verified, respectful, and timely coverage of athletes pushing gravity’s limits.
Who’s Leading the Game
Donovan Hawkins is dominating the elite 10-foot dunk scene with unmatched power and flow.
Isaiah Rivera, co-owner of THP Strength, is a world-class competitor with one of the highest verticals in the world.
Dom Dunks, known as “The Filipino Dunker,” electrifies crowds at just 5’7”.
Jonathan Clarke, Travis Dunks, Mason Baker, Jordan Southerland, CJ Champion, and Tyler Currie push style and technique forward at every event.
The Next Wave
Hoopin Nate
“The King of the Mini-Hoops,” Nate became a global sensation with over 1 billion views, campaigns for Gatorade and Google, and a Jimmy Kimmel appearance. In June 2025, he won the 8-foot division at Dunk Camp Salt Lake City, landing the complex inverted scorpion dunk. At 5’7″, he’s now competing across all rim heights.

The Vertical Rivalry
Darius Clark recorded a 51-inch vertical at Dunk Camp 2025 using the Vert Trainer.
Isaiah Espinosa recorded a flight time of over 1 full second—potentially a human first.
Isaiah Rivera remains in the hunt. This three-way rivalry isn’t over—it’s just getting started.

Jordan Kilgannon, considered the greatest dunker of all time, launched the first-ever pro dunker shoe line in June 2025 and is now mentoring the next generation.
